
One particular map allows you to drive a car across a highway or fly helicopters overhead and cover your team on the ground. The online experience is confined to deathmatches and terrorism scenarios,though the missions have interesting features themselves. This game is exclusively multiplayer with an unfortunate lack of variety. Getting killed over and over certainly makes me nauseous. Spawn, kill, die, and then repeat ad nauseum. Apart from these, the game is a standard first person shooter. If you're plagued by an unfortunate scarcity of cover, you may grab a hostage to use as a bullet catcher.

Available for purchase are different pets that can track down the enemy in a match. These are quite interesting mechanics for the shooter genre, and they aren't at the end of the list. It's a pretty cool way to get the job done in an unscripted multiplayer game, even if it is an option offered in a limited capacity. You might also like to take down terrorists from a window whilst dangling from a rappel rope. Unless you are one of many gamers that prefer to get directly shot at instead of duck away from certain death, the controls in cover are very simple and easy to manage. Sadly, this is an idea the first person shooter world seems to largely ignore despite its effectiveness. To start with, you can lean around cover or even blind fire over it. Gameplay Tactical Intervention impresses at first with a few interesting and under-used mechanics. At least it doesn't appear to be a fruit stand. The game has since been picked up by German publisher RNTS games and appeared at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany in August 2013. On June 10, 2013, game servers were brought down because "player involvement has yet to reach a level for OGPlanet to sustain its future service". They also revealed the game's release date as March 28, 2013. OGPlanet launched the open beta from the March 14 up to the March 25. Joystiq launched its exclusive beta on March 4 until March 8.

The game has also since been shown at GDC 2012 in San Francisco, where Gooseman demonstrated the game and was interviewed by various gaming media including GameTrailers, IGN, GameSpot and more. OGPlanet has since picked up Tactical Intervention for release in North America. Tactical Intervention entered closed beta for North America on however, this did not result in the release of the game. The game featured dogs, riot shields and the ability to rappel. It was a multiplayer first-person shooter in which a team of counter-terrorists face off against a team of terrorists, much like Counter-Strike. Tactical Intervention was a video game developed by Minh "Gooseman" Le, the co-creator of Counter-Strike.
